Vesrik's Grimoire

While most wizards prefer to keep their enemies at a distance to safely bombard them with destructive magics, this is not a universal truth. Through the use of conjured weapons and magical protection, some wizards instead wade into the melee to lay waste to their foes. Vesrik was one such wizard. He may have gone on to do great things to further the art of the battlemage, but his love for the fight was stronger than any desire to push the boundaries of the arcane. When he inevitably met a violent end in combat, he did so with a smile on his lips.
