Concelhaut’s Cudgel

This staff was once the prized possession of the archmage Concehaut. However, horrified by the staff’s power, a former apprentice dared to take it from the mage’s domain of Crägholdt and flee to the Living Lands. There she had hoped that far from the reaches of her former master she could destroy it. However, every attempt to destroy the staff proved futile as it seemed to share the same twisted desire for life as its creator. The staff was forged with a singular dark purpose; to prolong the life of its wielder by draining the life force of the living and tearing apart the souls of the newly dead.
