Those who came before must have had the entire isle under their control. Building such wonders must have taken centuries of work. They are found beneath even Solace itself. These were a people who thrived - until they did not. Yes, these lands are beset with evils, and yes, the beasts that roam and the plants that grow are cruel. But such a people as those who came before could not have been brought low by mere bears, or a putrid fungus. Only a spiritual rot could so destroy a people. So I pray to Woedica for guidance. So I pray to preserve my soul from the true evil of these lands...
