Piercing Night

Few things terrify the Rathun of the Deadfire Archipelago - this bow is one of them. One of the fire giants' longships was bearing down on a Vailian merchant ship on a dark moonless night - easy plunder, the Rathun thought. Suddenly, shimmering arrows made of ice began raining down on the giants. The Rathun attempted to press the attack, but when their captain was struck by multiple arrows and reduced to shattered chunks of ice, the fire giants fled.
