Battletrance

When a rogue maegfolc assaulted Solace Keep many centuries ago, many heroic Wardens fell to its terrifying might, but one man stands out from the rest. A warpriest and disciple of Magran, Henrik Barabas, is said to have single-handedly held the creature at bay for long enough for the other Wardens to rally and destroy the maegfolc. Unfortunately, Henrik's wounds were too great and he succumbed to them. He died happy, at least, knowing that his life was a small price to pay for the safety of his home and people. For decades after his death, Battletrance was passed down from one Magranite warpriest to the next, and has since absorbed a measure of their collective prowess.
