The dyed leather of these boots is supple and intricately tooled. The remarkable craftsmanship of this footwear enhances their wearer's mobility and evasiveness, a much sought-after trait for thieves, assassins, and ne'er-do-wells of all sorts. Though the means in which they ended up in Cutty's store is unknown, they were almost certainly criminal.
