Staff of Pestilence

This staff was once a simple walking stick belonging to a wandering traveler. While journeying through a treacherous swamp, both the staff and its owner were presumed to be lost. Years passed before the staff was found, half-submerged in the murky waters of the swamp. No trace of its former owner were ever recovered but many assumed he must have slipped and drowned. Now centuries later, the staff still exudes a noxious, green ichor, a potent reminder of its grim past.
