Umpara's Spear

This spear is a marvel of Rauataian engineering. The hollow haft of the weapon holds dozens of darts and a delicate mechanism within allows the wielder to fire these darts. According to the original inventor behind the design, it was supposed to increase the adaptability and effectiveness of Rauataian soldiers, but this prototype was the only one of its kind ever made. No matter how much time and effort was put into refining the weapon, the inventor was never able to figure out a way for the wielder to fire darts from the spear without significant effort - much more than could be expected of rank-and-file spearmen.
