Survivor's Guilt

This blade was last carried by a Vailian explorer, the lone survivor of an avalanche that buried his peers in an event known as the Belderreno Pass incident. He chose to fall on his sword instead of succumbing to his injuries. His remains were recovered near Fior mes Ivèrno, where he likely didn't see the lights of the settlement through the blizzard. His weapon vanished the following spring.
