Nimanna's Ward

Harvesters of Gaun are sometimes known for using lanterns with cores of adra to reap the souls of the fallen, but Nimanna believed that there were more effective ways to do this. To accomplish this, she embedded four chunks of adra into her shield and personally blessed it, using some of her very soul as a battery to do so. The result was something that not only had the capacity to reap souls of the dead for those that knew how, but also a way to keep herself safe from the angry spirits of the fallen that would invariably lurk around the battlefields she frequented for the harvest.
