Bastion of Solace

The face of this ancient golden shield is decorated with numerous precious gems and ringed with coarse boar fur. It dates back to the days of Soreena, a legendary figure from Solace's history. After a rogue maegfolc assaulted the keep and destroyed much of it, Soreena led the efforts to rebuild and fortify Solace and was gifted this shield by the keep's then-Forgemaster. Ever since, tradition has dictated that the shield would be given to a Warden that proved themself worthy enough to wield it through acts of selfless heroism. Never before has it been given to an outsider.
