Frost and Famine

This hammer was recovered from the cargo hold of the drifting wreck of an Aedyran merchant vessel. The ship was last seen setting sail to The White that Wends, intending to trade with the Glamfellen tribes that inhabit that frozen region. According to the ship's log, the tribes were hostile to the Aedyrans' presence, and rather than return empty-handed, the Aedyrans attacked and ransacked several Glamfellen villages. Not long afterwards, the ship became trapped in the sea ice, dooming the crew to a slow agonizing death by starvation after their supplies ran out.
