Gambeson of the Grand Empire

This reinforced padded armor was made nearly 200 years ago around the same time that the empire of Grand Vailia collapsed. According to legend, it was originally dyed a bright white color but has been permanently stained red from the blood of both its previous wearers and their slain foes. Though it is said that the armor has had more owners than there are minor noble houses in Old Vailia, it is in remarkably good condition.
