Magran's Force

These heavy gauntlets are painfully hot to the touch, but so well insulated that a comfortable warmth is all that the wearer of these gauntlets feels from them. They were crafted by a master blacksmith and worshiper of Magran as a self-made trial. When the gauntlets were finished, the smith put them on and plunged his hands into the fire of his furnace, muttering a prayer to Magran to protect him from the flames. She heard the man's pleas and granted him the protection he sought, as the deep red color of the gauntlets deepened yet further and they grew eternally hot.
